How is Peak Trader Pro different from other day trading programs?
Peak Trader Pro provides a comprehensive platform for traders designed by professionals with pit experience.
The easy-to-use, intuitive software program features point-and-click simplicity with real-time streaming data that is downloaded into the program each day when you log-in.
Peak Trader Pro provides members online coaching via a daily webinar which can include audio analysis (depending on the Membership option you choose).
So if you're experienced trader, you can use the program on its own; or if you'd like, use the program in conjunction with the daily coaching webinar and get market insight from a veteran as a guide to build your own strategic trading approach.
The other difference that Peak Trader Pro offers is our special focus on E-mini and Dow mini contracts, which are perfect for active traders. We help manage the amount and quality of the information you receive so you get targeted data you can really use.
Peak is dedicated to your financial success and pleased to offer you this comprehensive package!
Why does Peak Trader Pro provide a special focus on E-mini and Dow-mini contracts?
E-mini and Dow-mini contracts are of special interest to active traders. They're extremely liquid and trade 24 hours a day.
E-mini futures track the most popular broad-based stock index benchmarks in the world, and were pioneered by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dow-mini options are traded on the Chicago Board of Trade, whose underlying assets are Dow Jones Industrial Average futures contracts. They have a five-times multiplier, which means each contract on the index controls five times the value of the index. This gives you more leverage than a cash index option at a lower cost.
Peak Trader Pro is designed to give traders quality, targeted information they can really use.

The stretch/squeeze tool isn't loading or displaying any data. What can I do?
Usually this is an issue of setting the correct contract month specifications.
Select 'Options' then 'Set Options' from the upper left hand corner of the program. Choose the 'Stretch/Squeeze' tab, then check to ensure that the Dow contract month is up to date [in the box next to 'Choose Dow E-Mini Contract].
I am not getting an audio feed for my live webinar.
Select 'Preferences' in the Goto Live Meeting software. Select 'audio,' then make sure your speakers are not muted and that the volume is high enough.
Note: the audio portion of the daily coaching webinar is part of the Membership Option 3 package.
I'm not getting data on my ES or YM chart or the data does not match the webinar. What's the problem?
To remedy this, select 'Options' then 'Set Options' from the upper left hand corner of the program. Choose the top and bottom chart tabs and ensure that the contract month is up to date and shows the current month being traded.

A Point 3 is an entry into the market. If you don’t get increasing dominant volume, exit the trade and wait for the next formation.
Up Channel: Black is a dominant traverse and red is a non-dominant retrace.
Down Channel: Red is a dominant traverse and black is a non-dominant retrace.
One sign of change is a Failure to Traverse (FTT). When a price bar does not reach the left trend line, accompanied by a sequence of increasing non-dominant volume, the pattern is failing to traverse and breaks the ongoing momentum, predicting a possible change in market direction.
Another sign of change is a shift in the Volume Bar. The price opens on a new bar and continues to trade in the dominant direction, but then shifts and closes in the opposite direction of the open. This shift in momentum is creating a potential FTT and a change in market direction.
A third sign of change occurs on the Outside Bar. The price creates a higher high and a lower low relative to the last price bar, but closes the opposite color of the dominant trend. This shift in momentum is creating a potential FTT and a change in market direction.
In all examples increasing non-dominant volume is needed for change.
What makes dry volume significant?
Dry volume dictates less volatility. Lower volume and lower volatility correlate to smaller price movements.
What do the green bubbles on the ES screen signify?
These bubbles are displayed on the Depth of Market (DOM) Wall and represent the highest offer and the highest bid.
